English requirements for UK nurse registration

The English evidence the NMC accepts for nurse registration, including tests, recent practice and English-taught qualifications.

You need 350 in listening, reading and speaking, and 300 in writing. The Nursing version and result-verification rules also apply.

The NMC requires IELTS Academic scores in each skill: 7.0 in listening, reading and speaking, and 6.5 in writing.
