For OET Nursing, the NMC requires 350 in listening, reading and speaking, and 300 in writing. The test version, result dates and verification process also need to meet the published rules. NMC3

Is 300 in writing enough?
It meets the listed writing target. It does not, by itself, answer whether the whole result can be used. The other skills, examination version, dates and evidence process still matter.
A generic instruction to obtain 350 in every skill can obscure this distinction. Use the receiver's own policy rather than assuming that a course company's general “passing OET” statement describes your application exactly.
Consider this hypothetical result: listening 360, reading 370, writing 300 and speaking 350. Each number meets the corresponding target above. That is a check of the score table, not an approval of the person's application.
Now change reading to 340 while leaving every other number unchanged. The writing result has not become the problem; reading is the shortfall. Spending money on writing simply because it has the smallest absolute number would target the wrong skill.
Do not average the four scores
When a rule sets per-skill thresholds, a surplus in one skill does not automatically cancel a shortfall elsewhere. A personal average may be useful for keeping a diary, but it is not a substitute for applying the published conditions.
Write the result in the same order every time: listening, reading, writing, speaking. A transposed pair can turn a correct-looking table into the wrong conclusion.
Use the required profession version
NMC instructs applicants to choose the Nursing examination. It accepts the listed Paper, Computer and Home delivery options under its OET policy. This does not establish that another regulator or immigration route accepts the same options. NMC3
The exact examination name matters more than a provider's broad statement that its preparation is “for healthcare.” Preparation and the evidence you ultimately submit are different products.
What about two sittings?
A result that does not meet all targets in one sitting may warrant checking the two-sitting route. That route has both target scores and minimum scores that must be maintained across the sittings. It is not a rule to select any four convenient numbers from your test history.
Read the worked combination guide before purchasing another preparation package. The dates and individual low scores can change the answer.
Finish the evidence process
Keep your result documentation and enable the required receiver verification. A screenshot in an email thread is not the same as the receiving organisation being able to verify your result through the appropriate process. NMC explains the certificates, candidate information and permission it needs on its OET page. NMC3
An administrative delay should not be treated as proof that your language ability is insufficient. Ask which document or verification step is missing before assuming another examination is necessary.
Next action by situation
All listed targets met: examine the remaining evidence conditions and documentation.
One target missed: check any applicable combination route, then identify the exact preparation gap.
No recent result: start with the evidence routes and test-choice guide.
A genuine writing gap remains: compare standalone corrections with a broader course. Do not buy merely because a generic article uses a higher writing target than your receiver.
