A useful first result is specific: “I now understand why these facts were irrelevant to this reader, and I can explain the selection on another task.” A less useful result is simply being pleased by a predicted score.

The argument for a small commitment is financial and practical. It is not evidence of learning effectiveness or a recommendation that every candidate should buy one correction.

Check task fit before price

Confirm the profession and how the task is supplied. Working from an assigned task may fit a learner who needs a starting point. A learner seeking feedback on an independently selected attempt needs to know whether that submission is permitted.

Keep the original prompt and notes with the letter. Comments about relevance need the context of the requested communication. Do not send identifiable real patient material to obtain exam practice.

The return-time gap
